The Technology
How Distillation Works
A Megahome distiller replicates the water cycle on your countertop — no filters, no membranes, no plumbing.
Tap water is heated to a rolling boil inside the stainless steel boiling chamber, turning it into steam.
Minerals, sediment, and heavy particles cannot travel with steam — they stay behind in the boiling chamber.
The steam travels through a cooling coil, where it condenses back into pure liquid water.
Distilled water drips into the included glass or BPA-free collection bottle. A full cycle produces about 1 gallon in 5.5–6 hours.
