What is Photobiomodulation?

Photobiomodulation (PBM) uses specific wavelengths of near-infrared light to interact with cells in the body. When absorbed, this light energy supports cellular function at a mitochondrial level — the same mechanism that has been studied across more than 35 published clinical trials using Vielight technology.

Vielight's patented intranasal-transcranial (itPBM™) approach delivers near-infrared light both through the scalp and through the nasal passage — reaching deeper brain structures that transcranial-only devices cannot access. The olfactory bulb, directly connected to the brain's memory and cognitive centres, is reached via the intranasal applicator.

All Vielight devices are designed for home use. Sessions are 20–25 minutes. No medication. No side effects for most users.
