Understanding Negative Ions
Before getting into how the Automate™ works, it helps to understand what it's actually producing.
Negative ions are charged particles found in the air, most concentrated around moving water — waterfalls, ocean waves, and after a thunderstorm. Enclosed indoor spaces, including a car cabin, naturally have far fewer of them.
The Automate™ uses a solid platinum emitter to generate a steady stream of negative ions inside the cabin. These ions attach to airborne particles — smoke residue, road dust, pollen, everyday odours — giving them a charge so they're drawn out of the air and onto a collector surface.
This describes how ionization works as a physical process — not a health outcome or benefit.
