Before getting into how the AS-300RB works, it helps to understand what it's actually producing.
Negative ions are charged particles found in the air, most concentrated around moving water — waterfalls, ocean waves, and after a thunderstorm. Enclosed, crowded spaces like airplane cabins, transit, and waiting rooms naturally have far fewer of them.
Worn around the neck, the AS-300RB uses a solid platinum emitter to generate a steady stream of negative ions in your immediate breathing zone. These ions attach to airborne particles — dust, pollen, perfumes, everyday odours — giving them a charge so they're electrostatically pushed outward, away from your face.
